This position is responsible for the procurement, distribution, and management of equipment and other property available through the Federal Excess Personal Property (FEPP) Program. This requires the management, planning, coordination, and oversight of property located at multiple UC ANR locations and affiliated campus units. The incumbent coordinates with various ANR and campus departments to support planning, maintenance and equipment needs. This position is responsible for maintaining inventories and records related to FEPP program and compliance with USDA and GSA policies concerning property and equipment. Assist with special projects, including transportation of equipment and supplies and may perform or facilitate the maintenance or inspection of certain property and equipment. Responsible for UC ANR compliance with state and federal emission laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance for heavy duty (HD) trucks. The position will work with Managers, Superintendents and Directors at UC ANR and UC campus units to implement program and serves as UC ANR liaison for direct communications with USDA, GSA and DOD personnel. Uses skills as an experienced professional and implements and coordinates building management procedures and space planning activities. Develops project scope, schedule and budget plans for management review, implements and makes recommendations for new and revised procedures. Oversees various facilities-related operational activities. Receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on new assignments.

This position is a contract appointment that is 100% fixed.

Pay Scale: $61,800/year - $85,900/year

This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
